Last weekend, I took a pottery class for the first time. I have always been interested in making things by hand, so I was excited to try it. The teacher showed us how to shape the clay and use the wheel. At first, it was difficult to make the bowl look even, but after some practice, I got better. Everyone in the class helped each other, and the atmosphere was very friendly. By the end of the day, I had made two small bowls. They weren’t perfect, but I was proud of my work. I hope to take another class soon and learn more about pottery.
先週末、私は初めて陶芸教室に参加しました。昔から手で物を作ることに興味があったので、とても楽しみにしていました。先生は、粘土の形の作り方やろくろの使い方を教えてくれました。最初は、お椀の形をきれいに作るのが難しかったですが、練習するうちに上手になってきました。クラスの皆がお互いに助け合い、教室の雰囲気はとても和やかでした。最後には、小さなお椀を二つ作ることができました。完璧ではなかったけれど、自分の作品に満足しました。もっと陶芸について学びたいので、また教室に参加したいです。
