Last winter, I stayed with a host family in Canada for two weeks. It was my first time going to a foreign country alone. My host family was very kind and helped me practice English every day. I went to school with their son and met many new friends. We had fun playing in the snow and making hot chocolate. One weekend, we visited a big museum and learned about Canadian history. The experience helped me become more confident in speaking English. I hope to visit them again in the future.
