Last summer, my family and I went to Egypt for our vacation. We visited the pyramids near Cairo. I had seen pictures of them in books, but they were much bigger in real life. It was very hot, but we enjoyed walking around and taking photos. A guide told us interesting stories about the kings who were buried inside. I was surprised to learn how old the pyramids are. It was a wonderful experience, and I want to learn more about ancient history now.
去年の夏、家族と一緒にエジプトに旅行に行きました。カイロの近くにあるピラミッドを見に行きました。本で写真を見たことはありましたが、実際に見るととても大きくて驚きました。とても暑かったですが、歩き回ったり写真を撮ったりして楽しみました。ガイドさんが中に埋葬されている王様についておもしろい話をしてくれました。ピラミッドがとても古いと知って驚きました。すばらしい体験だったので、今は古代の歴史についてもっと学びたいと思っています。
